Casting Call

Cupids Legacy Centre is holding auditions for their upcoming season!

Located in Cupids, Cupids Legacy Centre is a museum / interpretation Centre that is offering a rerun of ‘A Place to Call Home:  Living Interpretation at Cupids – for the months of July and August, 2025.  Rehearsals will take place in late June and early July, and performances will be 3 times daily from Wednesday to Sunday.

We are casting for 3 roles:

1.     Kathryn Guy: one of the first English women to settle in Cupids in 1612. Adventurous and grounded. Aged 30-70.

2.     Sam Rowe: born in Cupids in 1850, a fisherman and a sailor. Born storyteller. Aged 40-60.

3.     Lousia Dawe: Sam’s granddaughter, born 1912. Dreams of exploring the world. Aged 20-40.

For your audition:

Introduce yourself: Your name, where you live, a little about yourself as an actor

1 monologue: Any piece of your choosing, 2 minutes or less.

Read from our sides: When you book an audition, we will send you a short piece of text to prepare.
